Dogs are welcome at Dog Beach/Crandon Beach on Key Biscayne. Now you can take Fido for a swim or a frolic in the sand. Swimming is wonderful exercise for dogs as well as humans. It’s easy – from the mainland take Rickenbacker Causeway which turns into Crandon Blvd. The beach is across from MAST academy. If you get to Virginia Beach Drive you’ve gone too far. Pack a picnic, go paddle boarding, kite surfing or canoeing. No long walk to get to the water. You park for free and you’re there.
