Hi there! My name is Nydia. I’ve been a proud member of the DogsGoWalking team since ’04. If you need dog walking or pet sitting in the Kendall or South Miami area, I promise to provide loving care for your animals. I can visit your pets at home or they can stay with me in my home.

I’ve been a pet owner all of my life and caring for pets is something I enjoy. My passion for animals developed early in life. Living on a small farm in Nicaragua, I had plenty of dogs and farm animals to keep me entertained. As a child, I remember going through my encyclopedia collection to read up on breeds and different species of animals. I still do that, except now I use Google. I research and read articles on pet health, nutrition, and related topics not only because I am a pet sitter but because I am a pet owner.

I love my pets to pieces and can’t help but love yours too! I thank my late dog Nikky for helping me come to the decision of becoming a pet sitter. I realized how much I looked forward to coming home from work to his unconditional love and affection and I made it a priority in my life to keep that feeling around me as much as possible. I now have my days filled with tail wags, wet kisses, warm cuddles, and laughter. It was the best decision I ever made! Nikky, when you left you took a piece of my heart, but thanks to you each new friend gifts me with a piece of theirs. In our hearts and memories you’ll always remain. We miss you and love you always.
