Welcome! My name is Ana, and I am a pet sitter and dog walker in Plantation. 

My passion for the outdoors and animals (especially cats, dogs and horses) has been fueled by my studies. I have immersed myself in learning animal behavior, with a specialty in animal & human interaction. I am a voracious reader, most recently perusing Temple Grandin's Animals In Translation & Ted Kerasote's Merle's Door. Ms. Grandin's text describes a correlation between the cerebral functions of animals and autistics. There is much education to be applied from understanding our four-pawed feral & domesticated friends. In College, I studied Early Childhood Education. I was a Red Cross Volunteer, certified in CPR & First Aid, assisting in the hurricane disasters of a few years past. I attend Calvary Chapel- I am involved in ministry there.

My passion for all things Nature, both flora & fauna, is intrinsic- it is in my genes. From my youth, I would watch wildlife documentaries, read National Geographic periodicals, studiously devour from cover to cover the Morgan Horse Magazine. I was a supporter of Greenpeace & a member of the National Wildlife Association. I trained in English-style equestrian riding; Jacques Cousteau was a hero to me. The music of John Denver inspired me. I was both a Girl Scout & a Girl Scout Leader. Biking, hiking, canoeing, rustic camping are all activities that thoroughly invigorate me! 

Recently, I volunteered at Broward County Humane Society- I loved it! One of my mentors is Francis of Assisi. His profound love of the outdoors is exemplary and legendary. I look forward to the privilege of assisting you with your animal care needs. Thank you.
